One Call Transfer Center streamlines

the process of interfacility patient transfers.

24 hours a day, 365 days a year

One Call Transfer Center eliminates the frustrating maze of phone calls it takes to get your patient from one facility to another. 

Just call to provide us with some basic information..... We will take care of the rest. 

• When you call the Transfer Center, the Coordinator will gather basic patient information, including the patients name, reason for transfer, referring MD and referring hospital.
• The referring MD will be asked 2 simple questions, "Is this referral an emergency medical condition?" and "Does your facility have the capability or capacity to handle this patient?"
• The Coordinator will then page the on-call physician for the requested service and conference the physicians for report.   
• If the patient is accepted, the Coordinator will arrange for transportation, fax over any necessary paperwork to the receiving hospital, coordinate nurse report and secure a bed.  
• The Coordinators will always call the sending facility back to notify them once the patient has arrived safely.

We provide uninterrupted data and reports for all referral communication and use state-of-the-art technology to best serve your physicians and patients.

Equipment

At Kolob Air we carry a complete medical kit on all flights, this includes basic medical supplies, lifting devices (such as clamshells) and spinal equipment. We also carry a wide range of other items such as complete drug kit including ACLS drugs, I V Therapy, Intubation equipment, and Crossvent 3 Ventilator. Kolob Air also uses a wide variety of diagnostic equipment, which includes IVAC I V Pump, Heartstream Forerunner Cardiac Monitor/Defib, Suction Equipment, and Pulse Oxymeter. The list of equipment is so exstensive we cannot list everything, as this is a brief introduction to who we are, we listed a few items of interest. At Kolob Air we believe in carrying all the necessary equipment for every client so that we are prepared for any emergency that may occur while we are transporting a client.
